DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will assess the services provided by agencies and analyze the data they submit to ensure compliance with departmental policies. You will also verify that programs and services meet state standards, adhere to best practice guidelines, and align with legal and federal requirements. A key responsibility will be evaluating and analyzing child abuse allegations for children in out-of-home care, determining the validity of these claims, and offering recommendations for service delivery. You will collaborate with agency directors, county commissioners, governing boards, and other relevant stakeholders to implement these recommendations. Your workload will be managed through regular supervisory meetings to address current issues, and the scope of your responsibilities will be determined by factors such as the complexity, size, travel distance, and reported incidents of abuse within the assigned county.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Three years of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating a human service program, and a bachelor's degree; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legal Requirements:You must pass a background investigation.This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
