Job Description:

The Journeyman Electrician safely performs troubleshooting, maintenance, tests, repairs and electrical installations in large commercial settings.
Pay: $25.00-35.00/hourly DOE The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. Basic Qualifications: --- Must be 18 years or older
--- Three (3) years of experience as a Journeyman in the electrical field is required.
--- On the job training provided.
--- Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license.
--- Must possess journeyman electrician's license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed.
Preferred Qualifications: --- Five (5) years of experience as an electrician is preferred.
--- Prior experience as electrician in an industrial or commercial setting is preferred.
Responsibilities: --- Perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment on-site
--- Perform electrical installations of a commercial nature
--- Plan layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes
--- Install electrical conduit, equipment, fixtures or wiring in floors, walls and ceilings
--- Install, inspect and test electrical systems
--- Perform installations which include but are not limited to panel boards, conduits, lay-in fixtures, wall packs, exit signs, light fixtures, disconnects, breakers, power distribution equipment and power supply wiring
--- Refer to labels, job site maps, instruction manuals, and written instructions to accurately to perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
--- Report work orders, scheduled jobs and work progress to a foreperson
--- Ensure code compliance through proper installation of electrical components
