The Opportunity

Our client is a manufacturer of precision machined components and assemblies for various industries including aerospace, defense, and medical. They have hired us to seek out a Quality Technician for their Manchester, PA location.



This position reports to the Vice President and Quality Manager and is responsible for monitoring and performing physical inspections to ensure quality requirements meet company policies and customer specifications.



The ideal candidate will have experience:

Conducting thorough receiving, first piece, patrol, and final inspections to ensure conformance with customer and purchase order requirements
Managing equipment calibration processes and maintaining gage inventory control
Maintaining detailed inspection records and quality control documentation
Participating in Material Review Board meetings and managing non-conforming material reports


Qualifications include:

Minimum of 5 years machine shop experience and 2 years quality inspection experience
High school diploma required
Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Experience with inspection equipment including CMM, microheight, gages, and calipers
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strict attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
