DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Residential Services Aide, you will be responsible for
assisting residential staff with developing, delivering, and
monitoring treatment, training, and related services provided at
Selinsgrove Center. This will include assisting with the
development of each patient's Individual Support Plan (ISP) and the
implementation of ISPs by conducting specified procedures. As a
member of the Interdisciplinary Team, you will deliver treatment
and training services in the areas of self-care, socialization, and
health maintenance as specified in each patient's ISP.
Additionally, you will record information in assigned patients'
unit records in order to document and communicate information to
other members of the team.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
* Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
* Work hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch. You
will have rotating days off and every third weekend off.
* Travel and overtime as needed
* Free parking!
* Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this
position.
* Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the
Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will being employment at the starting
annual salary of $41,582.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
* Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program (Commonwealth
job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined
by the Office of Administration); or
* Six months of paid experience in the care, activities, and
personal guidance of individuals with intellectual
disabilities.
Other Requirements:
* You must meet the PA residency requirement. For more information

* You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
* A conditional offer of employment will require a medical
examination and a drug screening.
* This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult
Protective Services Act.
* Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require
submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports,
including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI
clearance.
