AHC Imagine - 9711Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire and
experienced CT Tech our Outpatient Imaging offices who will embrace
our mission to extend Gods care through the ministry of physical,
mental and spiritual healing.As a CT Technologist you will:
Performs CT examinations in accordance with the protocols
established by the radiologists. Demonstrates proficiency in
operating CT-scanner and all ancillary equipment within CT
department. Assists radiologist and other staff in interventional
procedures. Understands principles and dangers involved in the
administration of oral and intravenous contrast. Identifies
contraindications to IV contrast administration and recognizes
symptoms of IV contrast reactions. Properly identifies patients,
reviews orders and selects scanning protocols in order to maximize
quality and safe patient care in CT. Accurately performs
documentation in all computer systems within CT and Imaging
Services pertinent to CT scanning (MergeRIS, PACS, 3DR, Image
Reformatting) Maximizes patient throughput and demonstrates
teamwork with coworkers by managing large patient volume including
the transport of patients to and/or from CT as necessary. Provides
general patient care as necessary within the CT department. Assists
in orienting and training of new employees and studentsParticipates
in performance improvement initiatives and other duties as
assigned.Qualified candidates will posses: High school or GED
Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography 1 year
CT experience preferredState of Maryland Radiation Technologist
license, ARRT (CT)Active BLS certification through the American
Heart Associates required.Work Schedule:PRN, As Need Monday-
Friday, 8:00a-4:30pPay Range:$34.58 - $51.87If the salary range is
not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate),
salary discussions will take place during the screening
