THE POSITION

This Information Technology (IT) Generalist 1 position is in the Employment, Banking and Revenue Delivery Center (EBR-DC) and is a member of the Information Technology (IT) Financial Management Services (FMS) team, which is responsible for supporting the highly complex IT procurement and financial management needs of EBR-DC organizations. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position supports highly complex IT procurements for various IT areas: Application Delivery; Cross Application Integration; Architecture, Data Management & Analytics; Project & Strategy Management; Service Management; Network/Compute; and Information Security. In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge of concepts and practices of information technology, procurement, and finance. This position requires knowledge of research principles and techniques to identify business requirements and solutions to problems. Work will require you to understand, apply, and adhere to Commonwealth and Organization/Agency policies and procedures. You will be expected to organize and concurrently manage multiple tasks in addition to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment.Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) full-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as an Information Technology Trainee or Information Technology Technician; orThree years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services ;orOne year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, networking or desktop services, web site development or web site design, or other information technology support/administration services, and an associate's degree in any information technology field; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.
