Job Description:

As a Retail Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications to patients while providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for verifying prescriptions, counseling patients, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Flexible scheduling options

Retail Pharmacist Salary/Wage:

$65 - $75 per hour, based on experience and location

Retail Pharmacist Duties:

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medications
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Maintain proper documentation and records
Manage inventory and order medications as needed

Retail Pharmacist Required Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) - REQUIRED
Active Pharmacist License in the state of Pennsylvania
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

Retail Pharmacist Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
Frequent bending and reaching

Retail Pharmacist Education:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) - REQUIRED
