Typical hours of work are from Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM until
5:00 PM EST. Additional hours may be necessary as needed. This
position is exempt from overtime.Compensation: $120,000 to $140,000
annual base plus commission.About InVita: InVita Healthcare

that support the advancement of public health and safety. InVita's
mission-critical software is highly configurable, with built-in
compliance safeguards that streamline processes and enable quick
and efficient information exchange for Blood & Plasma Centers,
Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs), Hospitals and Health
Systems, and Forensic Laboratories.Overview: In this role, the
Director of Business Development will drive the development of all
aspects of InVita's donor engagement products with a focus on
revenue growth, creating a cohesive partner strategy, and
developing Go-to-Market (GTM) plans. This role will report directly
to InVita's Chief Growth Officer (CGO) and will work cross
functionally to collaborate with sales, marketing, product
management and customer success to build a robust and scalable
partner ecosystem that helps drive revenue growth. This role is
both strategic and highly tactical while spanning the donor
engagement products for InVita's Blood and Plasma division. This
position requires a flexible approach and a strong cross-functional
collaborator who can successfully work in a performance-based
organization to deliver results and build a foundation for
continued success.Who: Successful BDDs should have a strong
orientation to delivering winning outcomes and possessing an
emotional engine that is contagiously felt throughout the
organization. They must drive behaviors that lead to leading and
lagging indicators. Ideal BDDs are proven hunters who have an
established track record of selling software solution benefits with
a tangible value for the customer.Essential Functions:
- Enable the Company's Strategy by creating new customers using
the defined sales strategy, processes, and programs.
- Build out the assigned account territory and develop the
necessary resources to attain aggressive growth targets.
- Prospect for new clients on a consistent basis to drive
profitable revenue while exceeding individual quotas.
- Facilitate virtual seminars and product demonstrations as
needed.
- Help develop effective programs, metrics, sales projections,
and support pricing tactics.
- Drive revenue by establishing and selling solutions through the
InVita Platform of products and services.
- Maintain the pulse of the competitive landscape and customer
needs in order to help recommend new ancillary products and
services.
- Establish scale and profitability by helping to professionalize
InVita's go-to-market strategy and sales function.
- Facilitate optimization of gross margin throughout the
organization.
- Acts as a role model for the Company culture.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales, communications, or
related field required.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple
priorities effectively are required.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills, including
presentation skills is required.
- Working knowledge of strategies to attract, manage, and retain
potential blood and plasma donors; experience with donor drives;
and knowledge of blood & plasma center operations are
required.
- Demonstrated track record of building and cultivating
relationships at the CEO, CFO, COO, VP levels.
- Proven consultative and collaborative selling skills a
plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels to create a
results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Well-versed in using marketing and sales software applications,
Salesforce.com preferred.
- A motivated team player who works effectively and
cross-functionally within all levels of management, both internally
and externally.
- Customer-focused with a passion for client success.
- Process-driven with the ability to use quantitative and
analytical skills to drive growth.
- Detail-oriented with Project Management experience.Physical
