• Attend and participate in meetings such as preconstruction and pre-performance conferences, quality control coordination meetings, progress meetings, or other conferences held between the Government's representatives and construction contractors.
• Review construction drawings and specifications, document recommendations to resolve construction issues, and provide them to the COR for review.
• Provide review comments on contract submittals to ensure conformity with specification requirements, document review comments, and recommend government action to the COR. Monitor the timeliness of all submittal reviews to ensure completion within required time frames.
• Prepare weekly status reports with appropriate detailed backup and present the reports at regularly scheduled review meetings.Required Skills & Experience
• Undergraduate (BS) and/or master's degree (MS) in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) qualification highly preferred.
• 10-15+ years of related project management experience overseeing large, multimillion dollar construction projects involving mixed-use facilities.
• Demonstrated experience working as an Owner's Representative, preferably with Federal Clients.
• Strong knowledge of the A/E and vertical construction industries is required, including experience in architecture, engineering, mechanical and electrical systems installation, plumbing, and QA/QC construction inspections.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and industry best practices is required.
• Must be fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to maintain detailed written records of day-to-day activities is critical.
• Must be able to lead in-progress reviews and technical meetings, including giving presentations to VIPs.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and variable work environment while managing multiple task orders at different worksite locations.
• Must be proficient with basic hand tools, meters, monitoring equipment, and field instrumentation.
