The Opportunity

Our client, a unique and agile custom manufacturer working in a variety of industries, has engaged us to identify a Manufacturing Manager for their York, PA location.

This position reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for managing, directing, and coordinating all activities involving the slitting and converting areas while ensuring productivity goals align with business profitability objectives.

Other responsibilities include:

Overseeing day-to-day operations including capacity planning, scheduling, inventory, and resource allocation
Ensuring all associates are fully oriented and trained while maintaining a safe work environment
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement actions based on key department metrics
Supporting product development to ensure smooth transition to commercial production

Qualifications include:

Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing experience in a management or supervisory role
Strong leadership, influencing, interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Proficiency in statistical methodology and operational practices with relevant certifications (APICS, LEAN, Six-Sigma, etc.)
