Endpoint Engineer - Global Technology Services
The Endpoint Engineer will play a vital role within the Global
Technology Services team, supporting technology infrastructure
across international offices. This position is essential for
developing and maintaining secure, distributed endpoint
environments and ensuring seamless device operations-from
procurement to end-of-life.
This individual will manage the complete endpoint lifecycle,
including operating system configurations, security agent
deployments, policy settings, and software profile management. The
role includes overseeing endpoint deployment, patching, and
management tools, and serving as a technical escalation point for
the Global Service Desk and other technology teams.
This position is based at headquarters in the Washington, DC area
and requires on-site work two days per week. Fully remote
candidates will be considered with quarterly travel.
Key Responsibilities
Project and Operational Management Identify and execute continuous
service improvement (CSI) initiatives.
Provide expert technical guidance to the Service Desk and GTS on
emerging endpoint technologies.
Manage the engineering cycle for end-user hardware and
software.
Lead endpoint engineering activities including device deployment,
imaging, and lifecycle management.
Oversee installation, configuration, and support for remote
endpoint management tools.
Conduct regular patching of operating systems and applications.
Maintain documentation in the IT Service Management platform
(ServiceNow), including Incident, Request, Change, and Problem
records.
Documentation & Reporting Create and maintain thorough
documentation using the ServiceNow ITSM platform.
Support and configure asset management processes within
ServiceNow.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot software and hardware
integrations for laptops across the environment.
Training & Communications Translate customer and business
requirements into technical endpoint solutions.
Train Service Desk team members on new technologies and patching
strategies.
Provide input on the configuration and administration of MS Teams,
Microsoft 365, and the Digital Adoption Platform.
Serve as a key escalation point for critical issues and support
remediation of endpoint vulnerabilities.
Requirements
Experience 6+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting
Windows laptops in a Microsoft 365 environment.
3+ years of experience managing devices with Microsoft Intune.
Proven experience managing a laptop fleet of 500+ devices for at
least 4 years.
Background in providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 desktop support.
Strong ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and IT
operations to build and refine endpoint processes.
Technical Skills Solid knowledge of enterprise IT operations
including networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity best
practices.
Experience with Microsoft Intune and Entra Administration,
including Autopilot, Co-management, Conditional Access, and device
compliance policies.
Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
Experience with endpoint technologies such as MDT, SCCM, BitLocker,
and Virtual PCs.
Familiarity with managing macOS devices (Kandji preferred).
Experience with asset management systems; ServiceNow preferred.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
combination of education, experience, and technical
certifications.
Location Hybrid (Washington, DC area) - in-office 2 days/week OR
remote candidates may be considered but must be able to travel to
DC quarterly.
