Network Engineer

Technical Skills Hands on working experience with Cisco Routers/Switching and Nexus technology. Familiarity with Cisco Company routers, Nexxus switches, IOS XR and Nexxus OS is must.
Familiarity with Python Scripting and hands on experience with Linux required.
Experience with networking technologies such as BGP, MPLS, VRF's, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS and VLANs/Trunking
Strong background with IP addressing/Subnetting (IPv4).
Ability to understand, create and modify Visio network drawings as needed.
Previous experience working in Enterprise network support is highly desirable.


Interpersonal Skills- Team Player
Ability to Communicate with Customer and Internal Lumen organizations.
Good prioritization skills - ability to handle changing priorities, and meet the deadlines.
Support out-of-hours, and Change Management requests during maintenance windows.
Travel to Customer sites on short notice for meetings and network upgrade activities.
